The factions of Northern Ireland during the Troubles

Abstract:

The reason for this independent work study is to analyze the progression of the PIRA in the 1960s and 70s along with its origins connected to the original IRA on the 1910s and 20s. This independent work study will also examine the sentiments from the public, as well as internal feelings amongst both the provisional and the original IRA. This will be done in conjunction with discussing the affects of the bombing campaigns and the terror spread throughout Ireland and England.
