Abstract:

The 27 Club consists of a group of musicians who died at the age of twenty-seven. All these musicians met tragic ends, either through drug overdose or suicide. Most of them had mental health and substance abuse problems, to the point where it was apparent, even to the public eye. They were all at the height of their fame at the time of their deaths. Many people blame the artist for their own mental health issues and eventual death. However, the responsibility should not fall solely on the musicians, but on the musician’s support networks as well.
