Abstract:

This research examines the impact of the Black Lives Matter Movement on police officers. This research looks into how police officers from cities and suburbs were affected by the movement and how their outlook has changed. Face-to-face interviews were conducted with city and suburban police officers in New Jersey. Interview results show that suburban officers felt supported by their communities. However, city officers found that their communities turned against them.
