Abstract:

Sports have existed for almost three thousand years, but men’s and women’s sports are rarely viewed, supported, and encouraged equally. This paper addresses the contrast between athletics departments. This unequal treatment is present at not only a professional level, but in high school and college as well. Using quantitative data through survey collection I examined students first-hand experiences at a high school and college level and the comparison of athletic departments based on amenities, opportunities, and accessibility.
