Forensic Photography
Abstract:
Forensic photography is a huge aspect of the the crime scene investigation process. There are many steps in the collection and analysis of information that require the use of photos. Within recent studies, new technology has allowed for advancement within the forensic field specifically pertaining to photography. New technological advancements can now help forensic scientists identify victims and witness from the scene using the photos that are taken. Characteristics such as smiles, the red-eye effect are now stronger ways for person identification. In addition there are newer microscopes that include cameras in order to get a magnified picture of evidence. All in all, the new technology has a benefit on the Forensics system.
