Black Maternal Healthcare: Bias or Blindness?

Abstract:

Black maternal mortality has a diverse scope of issues that can be causing this particular injustice. This presentation will discuss the impact of bias through the concerns of existing health issues, racial barriers, and the intention to practice. In order to combat the trauma endured on patients there needs to be a new direction. Changing nursing curriculums and restructuring inclusive workshops will lead the way to effective revisions in the healthcare system.
