Abstract:

I am going to be talking about the beat poets and their views and critiques of our everyday lives. I will be talking about their role as poets/authors and how they tried to combat our ever-changing society. There is going to be a combination of audio recordings and my own input played at the presentation. I am going to have readings from certain poets played and different musical pieces that go along with them and their tone.
