An Analysis: The Lack of Current NFL Regulations, The Negative Effects on Players, and Proposed Solutions
Abstract:
A trend of CTE diagnoses among players resulting in the deterioration of their lives during and after their careers, has stemmed from a pattern of medical conflict of interest and a lack of effective NFL regulation. My research delved into the introduction of a split medical team and safer tackling regulations, combined with the use of helmet sensors, that possibly could be effective solutions to reduce traumatic brain injuries in the NFL.
