Who’s who at the Siena Bird Feeders
Abstract:
With Siena College being home to many of the Northeastern’s prime bird species we believed it was important to create a connection between the student body and the campus bird species. We figured the best way to achieve this was through the creation of a sign that will bring individuals to an interactive website featuring bird facts, pictures, calls and more. It will also bring special attention to encourage students and staff to refrain from littering and the harmful effects that it can have on our bird populations. By creating this website we hope to increase appreciation for the species we share the campus with and promote biodiversity as a whole. As a measure of success we hope to view how many people access the website and also receive feedback through an area designated for responses to receive helpful feedback. Through support from campus partners and facilities we hope to implement this project and see the results mentioned above.Title
