The Impact of Cyberbullying on Teens
Abstract:
CDC reports that 1 in 6 teens was cyberbullied in 2022. Research shows that COVID-19 has aggravated teen cyberbullying. This research examines the impact of cyberbullying on teens. Specifically, this study discusses how social media influences and promotes teen cyberbullying. Using survey data from Siena College students and interviews with local high school guidance counselors, this research provides deeper insight into the “digitalization” of teen bullying.
