How Semiotics Can Be Used In Marketing
Abstract:
Scholars in the marketing field (Fulgoni, & Lella) have looked at different tactics to better target different market segments, but few have approached this topic with a semiotics approach. In this presentation I will show how a semiotic analysis on a McDonalds advertisement targeted at Hispanic audiences is relevant to the marketing field. This presentation is relevant because the material in my essay would interest different people and applies well to my major. I would use a slideshow to show my findings and explain to audience members why semiotic is useful when targeting different demographics and market segments. I can also explain how a semiotics approach would look in a business setting to target different demographics and enhance the marketing sphere.Title
