The Control of the Few, The Lives of the Many.

Abstract:

The influence of others affects us all in our everyday lives. Propaganda is a strong tool that can be used to manipulate and change people’s thoughts, beliefs, and actions. During World War II, propaganda played a large role in molding the attitudes and perceptions of the German people, mostly about Adolf Hitler. Hitler was portrayed as a hero who would take Germany to greatness and restore its national standing. The use of propaganda, coercion, personal relationships, and fear were all tools that Germany used to portray the “legendary” Hitler. While Hitler was a terrible and malicious being, he was made a hero to the German population during WWII through the use of coercion and propaganda.
