Abstract:

My presentation will consist of a poster displaying various modern ethical principles and their importance pertaining to medical and scientific research studies. Specifically my research was centered around ethics concerning research on children, as they are an incredibly vulnerable population. My presentation will focus mostly on the Willowbrook Hepatitis Study and its turbulent history regarding the lengths researchers’ went to for the sake of gathering information.
